Virginia returns home to host Central Michigan this Saturday for Youth Day!  A pre-game Fan Fest at the Aquatic and Fitness Center will open 2 hours before kickoff until 30 minutes before kickoff.  Arrive early for your chance to get a caricature drawing with your family and friends!  A face painter, balloon artist, inflatables and a photo booth will also be available for your entertainment!

Gates open at 11 a.m. for the football game.  The first 2,000 youth in grades 8 and below will receive a free jersey lunch bag.  Raffles will be held throughout the game and 50 lucky fans will receive a winner certificate in their lunch bag.

For our Cavman’s Crew All-Star members, don’t forget to redeem your complimentary voucher and $25 companion ticket voucher at the Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall this week 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or at the East and West ticket gates on game day for a game ticket!  The vouchers must be exchanged for an actual ticket to receive admission into Scott Stadium.

Any new Cavman’s Crew All-Star orders must be received by Friday, Sept. 23 at 11 p.m. in order to receive vouchers in time for Saturday’s football game.

Kids Activities at Events This Weekend!

Field Hockey

  • On Friday, Virginia Field Hockey hosts Princeton at 4 p.m.  The first 100 fans in attendance will receive a free pair of UVA Sunglasses!  They are back in action on Sunday at 1 p.m. against UConn for Girl Scout Day!  Visit the face painter and balloon artist pre-game and all Girl Scouts are invited to stick around post-game for a chalk talk with Coach Madison on leadership.

Women’s Soccer

Another chapter in the Commonwealth Clash rivalry unfolds Friday night as Virginia hosts Virginia Tech at Klöckner Stadium at 7 p.m.  The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a free rally towel!  Come out and be loud as the Hoos try to clinch the first Commonwealth Clash point of the season!

Packet Pickups Available at the Bryant Hall Ticket Office Starting Monday!

Starting on Monday, Sept. 12, packets will be available for pickup at the Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Please allow 72 hours from the time that you complete your registration and receive a confirmation email to pick up your packet.

  • 1-hour parking is available in the spaces to the right of the main entrance.

Packets will still be available at the following events this month:
– Monday, Sept. 12: Field Hockey vs. Liberty – 5 p.m.
– Friday, Sept. 16: Women’s Soccer vs. Virginia Tech – 7 p.m.

Cavman’s Crew Registration Now Open

Registration for Cavman’s Crew, the official Kids Club of Virginia Athletics, opens on Monday, August 15 at CavmansCrew.com.  For the first time, two packages are being offered as part of the club: the base Cavman’s Crew package, which is free, and an All-Star Package, which includes additional benefits and a $15 membership fee.  Both options are open to all children in the 8th grade and below.

The complimentary Cavman’s Crew program includes a free t-shirt and three vouchers for free admission to Virginia baseball, women’s basketball, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, and volleyball. The program also includes a companion ticket for adult admission to one of the aforementioned athletic events. All complimentary packages must be picked up this year at select athletics events. Members will receive information about pick up dates once they register.

All-Star Package members will have their materials shipped to them. The All-Star package includes: the t-shirt, a set of eight complimentary admission vouchers and a voucher for a companion ticket for admission to a Virginia baseball, women’s basketball, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, and volleyball game, a voucher for a ticket to the home football game vs. Central Michigan on Sept. 24 and a voucher for a $25 companion ticket to the football game vs. Central Michigan. All-Star Package members also have the opportunity to be selected as a Kickoff Captain at home football games, Ball Kids at home men’s and women’s basketball games, and as special guests at other sporting events.  All-Star members will also receive free featured concessions items at designated Cavman’s Crew events.

Meet the Team Day

Charlottesville, Va. – Virginia’s annual Football Meet the Team Day will be held Saturday, Aug. 13 at Scott Stadium. Gates open at 6 p.m. for the free event. The north, east and west gates will be open and parking is free in the lots adjacent to the stadium.

Pokémon Go Event Thursday

Virginia Athletics will host a Pokémon Go event at Scott Stadium on Thursday (July 21) from 6-8 p.m. Joining the internet craze of Pokémon Go, UVA is inviting fans to come to Scott Stadium to try and catch them all.

Fans can enter Scott Stadium from the West Gate beginning at 6 p.m. and the stadium will remain open to the public until 8 p.m. Free parking is available adjacent to the West Gate.

Many Pokémon currently inhabit Scott Stadium as fans will have access to all seating areas, concourses and the playing field. Please note that fans will not have access to the suite level or Bryant Hall.

While at the stadium, fans may pick up 2016 football posters, schedule cards and magnets. Also, fans can enter to win a four-pack of tickets to a home ACC football game of their choice. Complimentary Aquafina bottled water will be available for fans at the West Gate.­­
