The Volleyball clinic scheduled for Saturday, November 26 has been cancelled.  Come out and see the Hoos in their final home matches against Virginia Tech on Friday, November 24 and Pitt Saturday, November 25, both at 7 p.m.  Use one of your Cavman’s Crew voucher for free admission or click here to purchase tickets.

Women’s Basketball Hosts Youth Reporters on Sunday, November 13 vs. Coppin State

Fifteen All Star Cavman’s Crew members participated as youth reporters at the Virginia women’s basketball game on Sunday, November 13 vs. Coppin State. The youth reporters were seated in the press seats in Section 107 and received a notepad to take notes throughout the game.

The youth reporters participated in a pre-game tunnel and stood with the team during the National Anthem. They were recognized on the court during a timeout and received access to a post-game youth press conference in the women’s basketball practice gym.

Select women’s basketball student-athletes answered questions and talked with the youth reporters about the win against Coppin State. Thank you to our All Star Cavman’s Crew members for participating as youth reporters at the game!

 

All Packet Pickups Now Taking Place at the Bryant Hall Ticket Office

For the remainder of the year, packets will be available for pickup at the Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Please allow 72 hours from the time that you complete your registration and receive a confirmation email to pick up your packet.

  • 1-hour parking is available in the spaces to the right of the main entrance.

 

Volleyball Youth Clinic this Saturday!

The Virginia volleyball team will host another free clinic this Saturday, October 8 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Memorial Gymnasium!

Meet members of the volleyball team and go through different stations to improve your volleyball skills!  This clinic is open to all youth in grades 8 and below.  To participate, email Kyle Homeyer.

Free parking is available in the Culbreth Garage.  Hourly parking rates apply in Central Grounds Garage.

Be sure to come back that evening and see Virginia Volleyball face Clemson at 7 p.m.!  Use your Cavman’s Crew vouchers to receive free admission.  There will be a face painter and balloon artist before the match starts and autographs following the match.  All Cavman’s Crew members will have an opportunity to stand with the team for the Star Spangled Banner!  Cavman’s Crew All-Star members – check your email Wednesday for a special concessions offer.

Virginia returns home to host Central Michigan this Saturday for Youth Day!  A pre-game Fan Fest at the Aquatic and Fitness Center will open 2 hours before kickoff until 30 minutes before kickoff.  Arrive early for your chance to get a caricature drawing with your family and friends!  A face painter, balloon artist, inflatables and a photo booth will also be available for your entertainment!

Gates open at 11 a.m. for the football game.  The first 2,000 youth in grades 8 and below will receive a free jersey lunch bag.  Raffles will be held throughout the game and 50 lucky fans will receive a winner certificate in their lunch bag.

For our Cavman’s Crew All-Star members, don’t forget to redeem your complimentary voucher and $25 companion ticket voucher at the Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall this week 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or at the East and West ticket gates on game day for a game ticket!  The vouchers must be exchanged for an actual ticket to receive admission into Scott Stadium.

Any new Cavman’s Crew All-Star orders must be received by Friday, Sept. 23 at 11 p.m. in order to receive vouchers in time for Saturday’s football game.

Kids Activities at Events This Weekend!

Field Hockey

  • On Friday, Virginia Field Hockey hosts Princeton at 4 p.m.  The first 100 fans in attendance will receive a free pair of UVA Sunglasses!  They are back in action on Sunday at 1 p.m. against UConn for Girl Scout Day!  Visit the face painter and balloon artist pre-game and all Girl Scouts are invited to stick around post-game for a chalk talk with Coach Madison on leadership.

Women’s Soccer

Another chapter in the Commonwealth Clash rivalry unfolds Friday night as Virginia hosts Virginia Tech at Klöckner Stadium at 7 p.m.  The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a free rally towel!  Come out and be loud as the Hoos try to clinch the first Commonwealth Clash point of the season!
